PRINTING MACHINERY – ECONOMICAL PRINTING
The New York Times is the most widely distributed newspaper in the United States. Every day millions of issues are printed and shipped throughout the NYC metro area and the rest of the country. The printing machines are equipped with backlash-free line shaft couplings that transmit torque for a distance of up to six meters.
Special internal gimbals inside the line shafts prevent them from exceeding the maximum permitted misalignment angle, ultimately providing additional safety for the user. Composite intermediate tubes can also be used for weight-optimized applications.
Due to the non-wearing and maintenance-free properties of these line shafts, the machine maintenance intervals can be extended, making them very cost-effective.
