Torsional stiff miniature Safety CouplingsDue to the consequent further development of the miniature torque limiter couplings R+W produced a smaller version.

The easy installing miniature torque limiter coupling works with the reliable R+W backlash-free principle.

The operationally reliable SK2 miniature torque limiter is notable for its extremely low moment of inerta and the short length. Users can choose between versions with single position re-engagement, load holding, Multi position re-engagement or free-wheeling function systems.

This safety couplings are already available with a length of 26 mm and an outer diameter of 21 mm.
In the event of overloading, the degressive characteristic of the spring causes an instant drop in torque and low residual friction of the coupling.

The series of safety couplings covers an adjustment range from 0.1 to 1500 Nm and a shaft diameter range from 4 to 60 mm. The torque is infinitely adjustable.
