Design:
Balanced clamping hubs with one radial screw per ISO 4762.
Intermediate tube section supported by gimbals within the bellow.
Mounting and dismounting accomplished
through the bellows.
Temperature range:
-30 to +120° C (3.6 F to 270)
Backlash:
Absolutely backlash-free.
Fit tolerance:
On the hub/shaft connection 0.01 to 0.05 mm |
Service life:
R+W Line Shafts are maintenance-free and has an infinite life,
if the technical ratings are not exceeded.
Material:
Bellows made of flexible stainless steel.
Aluminum intermediate tube section through
size 200, size 300 and up have a steel tube.
Optional composite CFK tube for high speeds.
Clamping hubs through size 60 Aluminum, size 150 and up have steel hubs.
Non-standard application:
Custom designs with varied tolerances, keyways, non-standard material and bellows are available upon request.
