Design:
Full split hubs with an elastomer insert and precision machined aluminum tube.
Elastomer inserts are available in type A (shore hardness 98 A) or B (shore hardness 64 D).
Both coupling bodies are solid joint by two tubes with high concentricity.
While looseing the tube clamping, a length
variation is possible within the given range.
Temperature range:
-30 to +120° C (3.6 F to 270 F)
The temperature range depends the choosen Elastomer
insert.
Torsional stiffness:
Depends on the Elastomer insert.
Backlash:
Absolutely backlash-free.

Clamping hub: high strength aluminum Elastomer
ring: precision molded wear resistant, and thermally
stable polymer Intermediate tube: precision machined
aluminum tube, steel or composite tube are upon
request available.
Service life:
R+W Line Shafts are maintenance-free and have an infinite life,
if the tolerances are not exceeded.
Fit tolerance:
On the hub/shaft connection 0.01 to 0.05 mm.
Non-standard application:
Custom designs with varied tolerances, keyways and non-standard material are available upon request.
